Today’s AZ Beer Week highlights: Brewing Up Hope, Tempe Pub Crawl

Arizona Beer Week concludes today. Here are some of today’s highlights:

Brewing Up Hope

Papago Brewing hosts an outdoor festival celebrating the camaraderie of the beer industry from noon to 4 p.m. Numerous breweries will be pouring specalty beers in honor of the 10 year anniversary of Little Guy Distributing. Admission is $20, and all proceeds go to the M.I.S.S. Foundation, which offers bereavement support to families that have lost a child.

Tempe Pub Crawl

The Great Arizona Beer Festival drums up some publicity for its March 3 event with a Tempe pub crawl. Starting at Dave’s Electric Brewpub at 2 p.m., the crawl also hits Gordon Biersch Brewery, Canteen Modern Tequila Bar and Robbie Fox’s Public House. $10 ticket includes food, beer and t-shirt.

Arizona Tap Takeover

All 24 taps at Taste of Tops will feature Arizona brews, and the brewers from Tempe’s Sleepy Dog will be pouring from two specialty kegs at 5 p.m. Drafts are $4 all day. Free giveaways.
