Ahwatukee finally gets a Pita Jungle restaurant today. The popular local chain’s 16th location opens at Ray Road and 49th Street.
The Mediterranean-inspired eateries feature healthy salads, pitas, wraps and lavosh pizzas.
The long-awaited Ahwatukee restaurant takes over the former La Vigne space next to the AMC 24 theaters and Ra Sushi.
Pita Jungle, launched in 1994, has grown to 14 restaurants in Arizona and two in California.
