Barrel Tasting at Kokopelli Winery

Kokopelli Winery and Bistro hosts its ninth annual Jazz, Wine, Blues and Barrel Tasting Weekend in downtown Chandler.

Starting at 7 p.m. Friday, attendees can taste wines directly from barrels before they’re bottled.

“I began this event to give wine lovers and novices an opportunity to taste wine the way a winemaker does,” says Kokopelli owner Dennis Minchella.

While barrel tasting is the focus of the three-day event, there will be more than 30 Arizona wines available to taste, along with live music.

A special menu will highlight New Orleans-style dishes.
