Today is National Fondue Day, and The Melting Pot in Ahwatukee is celebrating by offering $5 pots of cheese fondue from 4 to 6 p.m.
The Melting Pot serves six different types of cheese fondue, ranging from traditional Swiss cheese to Wisconsin Trio (fontina, butterkase, and bleu). All include artisan breads, vegetables, and apples for dipping.
The special coincides with happy hour, so diners also can enjoy $4 salads and $5 cocktails.
The Melting Pot is located at Ray Road and 36th Street.
