Kristina Grabowski, former executive chef at Red White & Brew, has taken over as head chef at Il Vinaio in downtown Mesa.
Grabowski replaces James Bacon, who left the Il Vinaio to head the kitchen at the new Monsterland Bar & Grill, which opens today just two blocks away.
Grabowski’s resume also includes stops at House of Tricks, Armitage Wine Lounge Cafe, and Fuego Bistro.
Joining her team will be Brandon Tacia (Culinary Dropout) and Robert Meyer (BJ’s Brewhouse), in addition to Craig Wolc, who remains from Bacon’s staff.
