Thursday Morning Dish: Dogfish Head tap takeover, tequila tasting & more

Flanny’s in Tempe kicks off a series of monthly tap takeovers tonight. First up: Delaware-based Dogfish Head.

Starting at 6 p.m., 16 DFH beers will be on tap: 60 Minute IPA, 90 Minute IPA, My Antonia, TaHenket, Immort Ale, Olde School Barley Wine, Fort, Hellhound On My Ale, Namaste, Burton Baton, Theobroma,
Sah’Tea, Aprihop, Chatea Jiahu, Pangea, and World Wide Stout.

Cask tapping

SanTan Brewing in downtown Chandler taps its weekly cask beer – an IPA dry-hopped with Motueka hops – at 3 p.m. today.

Taste of Romeo’s

Owner/chef Romeo Taus hosts his weekly dinner at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert. This week’s dishes: spicy lamb potatoes, roasted eggplant salad, chicken ziti, Mediterranean stuffed gyros and cannoli.

AZ wines & tapas

Four Arizona wines will be paired with four small plates during a special tasting event at Il Vinaio in downtown Mesa at 6:30 tonight.

Tequila tasting

At 6 tonight, Valley musician Roger Clyne will be at Secreto in Ahwatukee for a tasting of his Mexican Moonshine tequila. He’ll also sign CDs.
