Chandler hosts 3-day Taste of Greece festival this weekend

Taste of Greece Chandler AZSpanakopita, saganaki, and dolmadakia are just a few of the dishes on the menu for this weekend’s three-day A Taste of Greece festival at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Chandler.

Inside, the menu will feature lamb shank ($14), Athenian chicken ($12), pastitsio ($4), spanakopita ($5), and dolmadakia ($3 for $2).

Outside, food tents will offer gyros ($7), souvlaki ($7), saganaki ($6), and loukaniko ($5).

Pastries will include baklava, galaktoboureko, and koulourakia (3 for $2).

Greek beer and wine also will be available, and there will be Greek music and dancing.

Festival hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $3. Children 12 and under get in free.
