Four Peaks Brewing wins 2 gold medals, 1 bronze at World Beer Cup

Big congrats to Four Peaks Brewing, which won three medals Saturday at the World Beer Cup in San Diego:

• Hop Knot won the gold medal in the American-Style Strong Pale Ale category
• SunBru won the gold medal in the German-Style Kölsch/Köln-Style Kölsch category
• 8th Street Ale won the  bronze medal in the Ordinary or Special Bitter category

The World Beer Cup, held every two years, featured 799 breweries from 54 countries. A record 3,921 beers competed in 95 categories.

Four Peaks was the only Arizona brewery to win a medal.
