Last fall, we told you about Chandler mom Erin Carr-Jordan‘s campaign to clean up fast-food playgrounds. Her YouTube exposés got her banned from six East Valley McDonald’s. Now Maricopa County health officials may finally be getting involved.
The county is discussing new regulations with restaurants, including making playground areas part of regular health inspections, KTAR reports. Restaurants would be required to clean the areas at least once every eight hours and have hand sanitizer available.
