Sunday: Fundraiser for local ballplayer

This Sunday, Cadillac Ranch at Tempe Marketplace will host a fundraiser for baseball player Taylor Kaczmarek, who recently was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. The Mesa resident graduated from Gilbert’s Desert Ridge High and was named Arizona’s 2010 player of the year before going on to South Mountain Community College. His treatments are not covered by health insurance.
