The Hungry Monk will offer a one-night-only Left Coast beer menu at the Chandler restaurant Thursday. From 5-9 p.m., the Monk will be selling three food dishes made with beer:
- Poutine ($6): Crispy fries topped with a mushroom-beer gravy and cheese
- Beer Bacon Mac and Cheese ($7):Â Penne pasta tossed in beer-cheese sauce with bacon, jalapeno and serrano peppers and baked
- Monk’s Meatball Sandwich ($8):Â Kiltlifter meatballs, homemade marinara (yes, contains beer), Swiss cheese, parmesan, beer-braised onions served with Abbey Chips
Five beers from the San Clemente, Calif., brewery will be on tap: port barrel-aged Ale Epeteios imperial stout, Hop Juice double IPA, Testles IPA, Asylum Belgian tripel, and Board Walk saison.
