La Fonda Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, whose longtime north Tempe location was razed last month, has reopened in the former Chuy’s building on the southeast corner of McClintock and Baseline in south Tempe. Hours are limited from noon to 8 p.m. as the staff undergoes training. La Fonda recently celebrated its 45th birthday.
