The local craft beer community has donated an impressive list of raffle items for Wednesday’s all-day fundraiser for SanTan Brewing cellarman James Schmitt, a bystander who accidentally was shot in the back while walking his girlfriend to her car in a Mesa parking lot.
To raise money for Schmitt’s medical bills, the downtown Chandler brewery is donating all proceeds Wednesday from the sale of his favorite menu item (buffalo chicken pizza) and favorite beer (Epicenter Amber).
In addition, other breweries and businesses have donated the following (so far) for Wednesday’s raffle (tickets will be $5 apiece, or 5 for $20):
