Thursday: Michael David wine dinner at DownUnder in Gilbert

Many critics say Michael David wines are too rich, too alcoholic and too hard to pair with food. But consumers love them. Really love them.

Judge for yourself when DownUnder Wines & Bistro hosts a five-course dinner Thursday featuring five selections from the California winery: 7 Heavenly Chards, Sauvignon Blanc, 6th Sense Syrah, Freakshow, and Gluttony.

Guest chef John Wong from sN Asian Kitchen will join DU chef Jared Lupin in the kitchen.

Cost for the dinner, which starts at 6:30 p.m., is $55 per person. RSVP: kirsten@downunderwinebar.com.
