Superstition Farm in southeast Mesa will host an ice cream social called “Moos, Booze & Schmooze” Thursday, July 19, sponsored by The Barter Group and its new Edible Exchange.
The Scottsdale-based Barter Group launched Edible Exchange, a new barter concept for local farmers, ranchers, food trucks and artisans, in May.
The dairy farm, which also runs Udder Delights ice cream shop in Gilbert, will have a couple kind of liquor-flavored ice creams, as well as several non-alcoholic ice creams that can be paired with booze and liquers (such as oatmeal stout floats).
The event, which will run 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in conjunction with the farm’s Thursday night indoor farmer’s market, also will feature unlimited food from the Superstition Food Truck, an open bar and farm tours.
Cost is $35 per person or $60 per couple. Reservations are required: 480-443-0322 or lori@bartergroup.com.
