The Handlebar Pub & Grill in Apache Junction will host a Big Sky beer promo at 6 p.m. tonight. Featured on tap will be the Missoula, Mont., brewery’s Big Sky IPA, Moose Drool brown ale, and Trout Slayer wheat ale.
There’ll also be a food special: Moose Drool chili. It would be cool if it were made with actual moose meat, but tonight’s version will be made with Handlebar’s usual Arizona-sourced, grass-fed beef.
Handlebar owners Jeff and Alec Golzio say they’re working on a future Big Sky promo that will feature wild-game meat.
Until then, stop by tonight, score some Big Sky swag, listen to acclaimed bluesman Hans Olson, and get a bowl of chili and a beer for $10.
