Today: 99-cent Jewish sliders at Chompies

Here’s your chance to try the sliders that took down Adam Richman. Chompies is holding its third annual Ultimate Slider Celebration on Wednesday. Original Jewish Sliders – mini challah rolls filled with moist lean brisket, mini potato pancakes, and jack cheese served with a side of brown gravy – are just 99 cents (regularly $3.99) from 11 a.m. to close.

The fine print: Sliders only will be served in increments of two, with a max of four per person, for dine-in only. They’re available at all four Chompies locations, including Tempe and Chandler.

Richman, host of TV’s “Man v. Food,” unsuccessfully took on the restaurant’s Slider Challenge – to eat 12 in 30 minutes – in March 2010.
