A wrongly convicted CIA agent (Guy Pearce) must rescue the President’s daughter (Maggie Grace) from an orbital prison overtaken by inmates in “Lockout,” tonight’s Monday Night Movie at SanTan Brewing.
Pearce, perhaps best-known for “Memento” and “L.A. Confidential,” used weightlifting and a high-protein diet to buff up for the role, and also to prepare for the upcoming “Iron Man 3” (in which he’s the villain).
The 2012 French sci-fi action film was directed by Luc Besson, whose action flicks include “Nikita,” “The Transporter,” “Hitman” and “Taken.”
It will be shown on the downtown Chandler brewery’s seven HD screens. Enjoy free popcorn, beer specials and $3 Three Olives cocktails during the movie, which starts at 10 p.m.
