Queen Creek Olive Mill hosts 1st gelato social Saturday

Queen Creek Olive Mill hosts its first-ever gelato social from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

Locally made gelato and sorbetto are available in flavor combos like dark chocolate gelato drizzled with bacon olive oil and pistachio drizzled with fig balsamic.

There’s even a gelato beer float made with Four Peaks Peach Ale.

Guitarist Kyle Sorrell will perform live. There also will be a free wine tasting.

If you can’t make it Saturday, the mill hosts a gelato happy hour from 3-5 p.m. Monday-Friday when large gelato (normally $3.89) are the price of small gelato ($2.49).
