In what’s being billed as a battle between the “Crouching Tiger” and the “Transylvanian Garlic Keeper,” chefs John Wong and Romeo Taus will face off at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the second round of Chef Off!
The two will prepare three dishes apiece for guests at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert. Get all six plates, plus dessert and three wine pairings, for $50 and cast your vote for the winner.
Wong, the owner of sN Asian Kitchen in Mesa, defeated former Radda Caffe-Bar chef Lori Hassler last month in the first Chef Off!
Monday’s winner will face Jared Lupin, chef at DownUnder Wines Bar & Bistro in Gilbert (who will be the host of Monday’s battle), next month.
