Sai Wan Hong Kong Bistro opens today at Superstition Springs Center in east Mesa, according to AZ Central.
The Chinese restaurant serves Americanized favorities like kung pao chicken ($9.25), beef with broccoli ($9.95), mu shi pork ($9.25), and shrimp lo mein ($8.95).
Today’s grand opening at 5 p.m. will feature free chicken egg rolls, crab puffs and chicken pot stickers. Drinks specials will include $2 pints of beer and $3 glasses of wine.
All menu items will be half price Thursday and Friday.
After today, Sai Wan, located next to Red Robin and R.T. O’Sullivan’s, will be open for lunch and dinner daily. It also will offer delivery.
Owner Eddie Chan closed his Eddie Chan’s Asian Bistro in north Scottsdale nearly two years ago.
