RigaTony’s promises free spaghetti dinner on Sept. 3 if 1,500 people get vouchers

RigaTony's Tempe AZRigaTony’s is offering a free spaghetti dinner to its fans on Monday, Sept. 3, with a small catch: 1,500 people have to sign up through Facebook.

The longtime Italian restaurant, which recently moved from Chandler to Tempe, is calling it a Facebook Fan Appreciation Day.

The free meal will include spaghetti and meatballs, antipasto salad, and fresh-baked ciabatta bread.

The meal is free – even gratuities will be donated to the Valley charity Ear Candy – you just need to “like” RigaTony’s Facebook page and enter your email address here to get a voucher good for free lunch or dinner Sept. 3.

It’s obviously a ploy to build their Facebook audience, but it’s still a free meal.
