If you were planning on getting some free rotisserie chicken today or Saturday at Bad Mother Cluckers, you better make other plans. Looks like the Tempe restaurant’s grand opening is on hold.
“We are bummed!” reads a notice on BMC’s website. “Due to a technical problem with our brand new cooler, we now have to dispose of all the chicken we prepared for our Grand Opening today and tomorrow. Please stay tuned for new date.”
When it finally opens, the restaurant, located on University just east of Mill, will serve fire-grilled chicken, sides, beer and wine. It will stay open until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights.
BMC had planned to give away chicken from 4-9 p.m. today and noon-9 p.m. Saturday.
