We finally have an opening date for the much-anticipated Desert Eagle Brewing in downtown Mesa.
Co-owner Jeff Bryant says he and partner Joe Campbell are planning to open the city’s first microbrewery Friday, Oct. 5, in conjunction with downtown’s monthly First Friday celebration.
The night’s theme is “Biketober.”
Bryant and Campbell expect to have at least six beers available by the opening: an IPA, pale ale, blonde ale, red ale, hefeweizen, and dunkelweizen.
Desert Eagle is located on the north side of Main Street, about a block east of Country Club (between Robson and MacDonald).
The taproom-only brewery – as in, no kitchen – will seat about 50 people. There’s room for another 50 in a front sidewalk beer garden.
