TQLA, a tequila-centric restaurant and bar, opens today on Val Vista, just south of U.S. 60, in Mesa.
The Dana Park venue is a spinoff of the original in Houston. It offers the same Mexican and Southwestern dishes as the Houston location, in addition to several unique dishes (see menu).
But the real focus is on tequila, and there are more than 80 varieties available (see list).
That includes eight tequilas on tap – cooled to 5 degrees – for $7-$10 per shot. Tequila flights are $14-$50.
TQLA is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thusday, 11 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
Info: (480) 813-8752.
