Thursday: Firestone Walker tap takeover

Flanny’s in Tempe hosts its monthly tap takeover Thursday. The featured brewery will be Firestone Walker.

Of the 2,000+ breweries in the U.S., Firestone Walker is one of my favorites. And it’s super rare to find so many of their beers on tap in one place other than the Paso Robles, Calif., brewery.

Flanny’s will have 16 of their beers on tap, including all six from Firestone’s “proprietors reserve series” – Walker’s Reserve, Double Jack, Wookey Jack, Sucuba, Parabola, and Double DBA.

Also look for seasonals Solace, Velvet Merlin, and Oaktoberfest.

Others on the night’s roster: Pivo Pils, Honey Blonde, Pale Ale, DBA (Double Barrel Ale), Pale 31, and Union Jack IPA. There’ll even be a keg of unfiltered Union Jack.

The takeover starts at 6:30 p.m.
