Bourbon Jacks Bar & Grill, the newest addition in downtown Chandler, opens its door today with grand-opening ceremonies from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
The self-proclaimed “urban country” restaurant and bar is located on Boston Street, just west of Arizona Avenue.
As of this morning, there’s still no signage. Look for it between the now-closed Urban Tea Loft (now a shoe-repair shop) and Kokopelli Winery.
The menu created by chef Billy Sims is contemporary American with some Southern twists. (I hope to post it later today.)
The bar will offer whiskey flights, as well as a large selection of bourbons. There will be 12 beers on tap and a total of around 30.
Live music, mostly country but also a little rock, will be played Wednesdays through Sundays. There are five big-screen TVs for watching games.
After today, hours will be 11 a.m.-2 a.m. weekdays and 9 a.m.-2 a.m. weekends.
The duo behind Bourbon Jacks – business partners John Radice and Lori Rutten – also own the Valley’s four Dos Gringos restaurants.
