Saturday: PBR Pancake Eating Contest

Calling all pancake lovers! Boulders on Broadway in Tempe hosts its annual PBR Pancake Eating Contest at noon Saturday.

This contest is all about speed, not quantity. The first person to eat one pancake wins.

The catch? The pancake is kinda gi-normous.

Anyway, it costs $10 to enter, which includes the cost of  your pancake and a Pabst Blue Ribbon to wash it down.

First-place prize is a trophy (pictured) and a PBR camping tent. Second- and third-place finishers will get trophies and a PBR swag bag.

Those who just want to cheer on the competitors can enjoy $1 PBR cans and $2 PBR “beer-mosas.”
