Hopheads, gird your loins! Hopageddon, billed as “final battle for your taste buds,” takes place Saturday at Papago Brewing.
We’re talking about a massive 32 IPAs on tap, as well as at least one firkin.
The second annual event, which runs noon to 2 a.m., features the first Arizona appearance of Bell’s seasonal double IPA Oracle.
It also marks the debut of Wild Raven, a collaboration between Papago and Odell. It’s a double black IPA aged in DeConstruction barrels.
Other highlights: Dogfish Head’s 120 Minute double IPA, Ska’s Hoperation Ivy Wet Hop IPA, Coronado’s Sock Knocker double IPA, Lumberyard’s barrel-aged imperial red IPA, Widmer’s Scorcher double IPA, and a cask of Left Hand’s Warrior IPA.
