Two of the Valley’s top craft beer bars – Papago Brewing and The Watering Hole at Whole Foods Chandler – were skunked in CraftBeer.com’s “Great American Beer Bars” contest.
Among the 10 finalists in our Mountain West region, three Colorado bars were the top vote-getters: Falling Rock Tap House in Denver, Oskar Blues Homemade Liquids & Solids in Longmont, and Mayor of Old Town in Fort Collins.
The top overall vote-getter in the country was Mekong Restaurant in Richmond, Va., followed by Hopcat in Grand Rapids, Mich., and The Thirsty Monk in Asheville, N.C.
