World of Beer in downtown Tempe is hosting “WOBtoberfest,” an Oktoberfest block party, from 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Saturday.
There will be a huge selection of German and  pumpkin beers on tap, and Colorado brewery New Belgium will be pouring many of its beers and raffling off a NB cruiser for charity.
Also being raffled off: A trip for two, including airfare and hotel, to the 2013 Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.
Eight local bands will compete all day to a $5,000 battle of the bands.
Food truck Short Leash Hot Dogs will be on site to sell food.
