The Arizona State football team takes on Pac-12 rival Colorado in a special Thursday night game, and the action won’t just be on the field. There’s also a battle “brewing” between the two states at Lucky Break, where “Beer Wars” will be raging all day.
The Tempe sports bar is pitting eight Arizona beers against eight Colorado beers. Customers can get a pair of 7-ounce samplers for $3.50 (or a pint of any of the beers for $3.50) and cast their vote for the winner.
“Since both Arizona and Colorado are putting out some absolutely spectacular craft beers right now, we decided to match them up against each other and have some fun seeing who our customers thought was the best,†says Lucky Break general manager Jared Fenix.
The winning beer will be Lucky Break’s beer of the month in November.
