BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery in Chandler and Lumberyard Brewing in Flagstaff picked up coveted medals at the 31st annual Great American Beer Festival in Denver over the weekend.
Jerry Maker from BJ’s captured the gold medal in the Wood- and Barrel-Aged Beer category.
Lumberyard IPA took the silver medal in the American-Style Strong Pale Ale category.
The three-day GABF is the largest ticketed beer festival in the United States. Nearly 50,000 attendees sampled beer from approximately 580 U.S. breweries at this year’s event.
