Stone Brewing steps into the spotlight for this month’s tap takeover at Flanny’s in Tempe. The Escondido, Calif., brewery will have a whopping 21 beers on tap at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Highlights include Stone’s 16th Anniversary IPA, a version of Cali-Belgique (a cross between an IPA and a Belgian ale) aged in wine barrels, a double dry-hopped version of Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale (a black IPA), and Suitable for Cave Aging, a limited-release imperial smoked porter in honor of Danny Williams.
Unfortunately, we won’t get a preview of the 2012 Double Bastard Ale, due to be released in November, although the 2011 version will be available. See the full list of beers here.
