One last reminder for this weekend: The Arizona Taco Festival runs 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Salt River Fields in north Scottsdale. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $100 for VIP.
Once inside, you’ll have to shell out an additional $2 per taco from about 50 restaurants and food trucks in the competing. Drinks are $2 for water and sodas, $4 for domestic beers, and $6 for craft beers and margaritas.
The festival layout will be three times larger than last year to accommodate the expected crowd.
Other attractions include a tequila expo ($20 for 10 samples), a margarita bartending challenge (Saturday), a craft beer  expo (Sunday, $10 for eight samples), lucha libre wrestling, a chihuahua beauty pageant, cooking demos, live music and more.
Parking is free. You get half-price admission if you wear a sombrero.
