Don’t put away the lederhosen just yet. Just when you thought Octoberfest season was over, here comes one last German beer dinner. This one is 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at DownUnder Wines & Wines in Gilbert.
There’ll be four courses, and chef Jared Lupin will have kitchen help from guest chefs Romeo Taus (Romeo’s Euro Cafe) and John Wong (Asia). Each chef will be offering one course paired with their favorite German beer.
The menu is still under wraps, but the featured beers will be Veltins Pilsner, Zunft Kolsch, Maisel’s Weisse, and a dunkel weiss.
