The expansion of Flancer’s in Gilbert is in it final stages, and the restaurant will be closed the next four days to complete the job. It will reopen Friday.
For the past couple of weeks, the restaurant has managed to stay open while the former patio along Gilbert Road was enclosed to become part of an enlarged dining room. Garage-door-style windows (pictured) have been installed.
Now workers need to do the interior finish and reinstall the dining booths – tasks that can’t be done without closing the dining area and kitchen completely.
