Sushi has returned to downtown Chandler. Eastwind Sushi & Grill opened today in the space that formerly housed Sushi Eye in Motion.
Sushi Eye, home of the Valley’s first sushi belt, closed in July. It now becomes the second Valley location for Eastwind, whose original is in north Scottsdale.
Besides sushi, the pan-Asian menu ranges broadly from bento boxes to Korean spicy beef to pad thai to orange zest chicken. Entrees are $6.60-$13.25. Express lunch specials are $5.85-$8.50.
Eastwind, 58 W. Buffalo St., is open 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.-9 p.m. daily. Info: 480-855-7451.
