TQLA in Mesa to kick off series of tequila dinners Nov. 15

On Thursday, Nov. 15, recently opened TQLA at Dana Park in Mesa will host the first in a planned series of tequila dinners. The featured guest will be Jose “Pepe” Hermosillo,  founding partner of Casa Noble Tequila.

Tequila & Tastes menu:

• 1st course: Lobster tamale with corn cream, shrimp and cucumber salsa (paired with fresh cranberry margarita)
• 2nd course: Grilled Texas quail with agave chile glaze, sweet potato mash with pecans (paired with spicy pumpkin martini)
• 3rd course: Petite filet with green chile wild rice, tequila apricots and blackened tomatillo sauce (paired with Spanish Rain Drop)
• 4th course: Pumpkin brioche bread pudding with homemade vanilla ice cream and canela anflaise (paired with Old Fashioned)
