Fat Boys N.Y. Pizza closes in Chandler, but hopes to reopen as soon as next week

Fat Boys New York Pizza, which just opened in Chandler earlier this year, has closed – at least temporarily. A recording says the pizzeria, located on the southwest corner of Arizona Avenue and Ocotillo, will be closed four or five days due to “a family emergency.”

However, a worker at Fat Boys’ east Mesa location, which opened in September and remains open, blamed the Chandler closure on a disagreement between two owners and expected the location to reopen next week.

Last week, MXSW reported the closure of NY54 Pizza & Ristorante, which was located across the street from Fat Boys.
