Once a month, Flanny’s invites a select brewery to put as many of its beers as possible on tap. In September, for example, Firestone Walker brought 16 draft beers. Last month, Stone delivered 21.
This month, the Tempe bar’s tap takeover goes local – with downtown Chandler’s SanTan Brewing showcasing a record 24 beers.
All of SanTan’s regulars like Devil’s Ale, HopShock IPA, and Epicenter Amber will be available, as well as seasonals like Count Hopula, Oktoberfest, and Mr. Pineapple.
There also will be a dozen “pilot” beers, mostly variations of existing brands like Speed Date, a version of SanTan’s popular Winter Warmer brewed with honey and dates, and Euro Kitty, a version of its Sex Panther fermented at room temperature with Belgian strong ale yeast.
