Tonight’s beer event du jour undoubtedly is SanTan Brewing‘s massive 24-beer tap takeover at Flanny’s in Tempe (see preview), but there also are a couple other noteworthy smaller tastings taking place.
At the Handlebar Pub & Grill in Apache Junction, Big Sky rep Don Cutler will be promoting several of the Missoula, Mont., brewery’s beers, including its seasonal Powder Hound winter ale, from 5-8 p.m.. He also will be giving away Big Sky growlers and pint glasses while supplies last.
At Taste of Tops in Tempe, a pair of the Bend, Ore., brewery’s fresh-hopped seasonals – Chasin’ Freshies and Hop Trip – will be featured. Chainbreaker White IPA and Obsidian Stout also will be on tap, and Deschutes’ mobile keg Woody will be on site.
