Jeni Britton Bauer, owner of Ohio-based Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, will make an appearance noon-2 p.m Saturday at AJ’s Fine Foods at Ray and 56th Street in Chandler.
The two-hour event, which is free, will include a book signing, a tasting of holiday flavors, and a demo for how to make Pumpkin 5-Spice with Caramel Sauce sundaes at home.
Jeni’s also offers such creative (and unusual) flavors as Brambleberry Crisp, Pistachio & Honey, Riesling Poached Pear, Whiskey & Pecans, Sweet Corn & Black Raspberries, Sweet Potato with Torched Marshmallows, and Cranberry Royale.
In May, Bauer won a James Beard Award for her book, “Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams at Home.”
