Cork has been doing its once-a-month Sunday tasting menus for a couple years, and few have been as popular as its German one, which returns this Sunday night.

The $35 prix fixe, four-course menu includes a choice of three entrees. There’s also an optional starter: A housemade pretzel with sea salt and a trio of dipping sauces (an extra $8).

German tasting menu

  • 1st course: Goulash with pork shoulder, bacon & smoked paprika
  • 2nd course: Chilled potato salad with sliced cucumber, red onion, watercress & honey mustard vinaigrette
  • 3rd course (choice): Wiener schnitzel with potato croquette, braised kale & mushroom gravy; pan-seared rock fish with black pepper spaetzle, spinach & horseradish cream; or prime strip with smoked boar sausage, potato, sauerkraut & mustard sauce
  • 4th course: Apple strudel with currants and fresh quark cream

Add a 2-ounce glass of Trockenbeerenauslese to dessert for $5. Add three wine pairings for $15.

RSVP: 480-883-3773.
