Mi Amigo’s Mexican Grill near Superstition Springs mall in east Mesa has morphed into Table Top Food Shop. While the restaurant has the same owner – who also owns the Mi Amigo’s at Gilbert and Southern in Mesa – the concept is very different.
Table Top offers a streamlined menu of just three appetizers (chopped salad, onion strings, and corn tortillas), three grilled pizzas (margherita, Chicago, and BBQ chicken), three sliders (burger, BBQ pork, and salmon), and three tacos (chicken, shrimp, and prime rib).
Tacos are $2-$3.50. Sliders are $2-$4. Nothing is more than $7.
The restaurant also offers an expanded selection of alcohol, including wine and craft beers. The interior has been extensively remodeled.
Table Top, located on Southern west of Power, is open 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and is closed Sunday.
