Joe’s Real BBQ namesake Joe Johnston will be among eight notable Arizona culinarians who will share recipes on “Eight’s Centennial Cooking Celebration,” which airs at 7 p.m. Tuesday on Channel 8.
Johnston will show how to make Joe’s Real St. Louis Cut Spare Ribs on the two-hour show hosted by Valley cookbook author and TV personality Barbara Fenzl.
Also on the show (pictured from left): Nobuo Fukuda of Nobuo at Teeter House, Mark Tarbell of Tarbell’s, Matt McTigue of the Grand Canyon’s El Tovar, Chris Bianco of Pizzeria Bianco, Fenzl, Amanda Stine of Garland’s Oak Creek, Johnston, Silvana Esparza of Barrio Café, and Kevin Binkley of Binkley’s.
Each chef will prepare a signature dish before a live studio audience. The show was inspired by the Arizona Centennial-themed cookbook “100 Years, 100 Recipes, 100 Chefs.”
