Mad G’s in Tempe closes after less than 6 months in business

That was fast. Mad G’s Grill & Tavern, a Tempe neighborhood pub from the owners of The Grind, has closed less than six months after opening, according to New Times.

Mad G’s opened on the southeast corner of Mill and Broadway in late June with a menu of burgers, sandwiches, ribs, and pizzas. The drinks menu included 25 beers on tap and a dozen beer cocktails.

It’s been a busy year for the owners, who also have opened Chick Rotisserie & Wine Bar in Phoenix and a second Grind in Scottsdale.
