LongHorn Steakhouse will return to East Valley on Dec. 11

LongHorn Steakhouse is trying Arizona again. The chain is opening what it calls its “first” location in the state Dec. 11 across from Fiesta Mall in Mesa.

Apparently they’re not counting the ill-fated LongHorn that closed at Chandler’s Crossroads Towne Center.

Besides more than a dozen steaks, the steakhouse – sometimes confused with the similarly named Logan’s Roadhouse – also offers seafood, chicken, and ribs. Most entrees are under $20.

LongHorn has more than 370 locations in 35 states. The chain is part of Darden, which also owns Olive Garden and Red Lobster.
