The Hot Chocolate 15/5K, billed as “America’s Sweetest Race,†is coming to Arizona. Held in eight U.S. cities, it’ll add Scottsdale to the list Sunday, Dec. 9.
After completing the 5K or 15K, which will start and end at Salt River Fields, finishers will enjoy hot cocoa, chocolate fondue, and other chocolaty treats.
The family-friendly race began in Chicago and has grown from 3,500 participants in 2008 to 40,000 last year.
Participants will receive a running jacket prior to the event and a mug of treats at the post-race party.
