The San Diego area’s Lightning Brewery, a newcomer to Arizona stores and taps, will be the subject of this week’s Friday Beer Class at Whole Foods Chandler.
Brewmaster Jim Crute, who started Lightning six years ago in Poway, will be on hand for its Arizona debut.
Featured beers will be the brewery’s Elemental Pilsner, Electrostatic Farmhouse Ale, Black Lightning Porter, and Fair Weather Pale Ale.
The informal weekly tasting, open to anyone 21 or over, is $5.
